We are pleased to tell you the latest initiatives of Mutina for Art programme, including a new display project realised for the company Headquarters in Fiorano and an exhibition especially conceived for the spaces of Casa Mutina Milano, as well as about the Mutina x Mousse collaboration which took place during Arte Fiera Bologna.

The new display curated by Sarah Cosulich, housed within the exhibition space of the Fiorano Headquarters, is dedicated to the recent painting acquisitions of the Massimo Orsini – Mutina for Art collection. The staring point of the project is the work by On Kawara, realised between 1968 and 1979: 12 volumes featuring the names of all the people he met during those years, that describes in a conceptual way the personal experience of the encounter.
The artists presented: Etel Adnan, Allora & Calzadilla, Michaël Borremans, Miriam Cahn, Gillian Carnegie, Felice Casorati, Leidy Churchman, Leonor Fini, Louis Fratino, Merlin James, On Kawara, Lucy McKenzie, Paulina Olowska and Silke Otto-Knapp.

In the current exhibition, open to the public until 31st March 2023 at Casa Mutina Milano, Silke Otto-Knapp’s paintings communicate with the ceramic backdrops, giving birth to a choreography where the spectator plays an active part. The show is enriched by a work created directly onto ceramics, made by the artist in collaboration with Mutina.

On the occasion of Arte Fiera Bologna 2023, Mutina collaborated with the publishing firm Mousse, creating a multipurpose space where art, ceramics, design and books meet. Inspired by the ancient ziggurat stepped structures, the Mutina x Mousse pop-up was realised with the three-dimensional elements of Bloc by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and offered a common ground, a space of dialogue, where visitors had the chance to live an immersive experience, remarkable for its intertwining of multifaceted languages.
