Giorgio Andreotta Calò

The artwork realised by Giorgio Androtta Calò, hosted in the Italian Pavillon at the Venice Biennale, was the perfect conclusion for the This Is Not a Prize 2016 experience.

Working as a sculptural and reflecting element, water was the main protagonist of the project, as typical of the artist, who explained: «It coincides with the fluid dimension of thought, in its flow. Reflection is therefore not only a visual fact but it is also a mental state».

In order to celebrate this great success, we share a time-lapse video which shows the behind the scene of Andreotta Calò’s work installation.
