Los Alamos

 

The book that we share with you today is Los Alamos by William Eggleston, published for his solo exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery in 2012. It is a collection of photographs taken by the artist between 1966 and 1974, during his travels to Delta Mississippi, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Los Alamos. The series focuses on Eggleston’s contemporary aesthetics, thanks to intimate portraits, and the desolate landscapes of the United States.
