Mutina for Art presents the exhibition project Compositions of Earth, dedicated to Robert Adams, one of the greatest living American photographers. The exhibition, developed for the spaces of Casa Mutina Milano, is a dialogue between a selection of the artist’s photographs from the 1970s and the 1980s and a display made with special multiform natural earth brick walls. Compositions of Earth pays tribute to the main themes of Robert Adams’s research: the American frontier of the West, the relationship between man and nature and the relentless transformation of the landscape. Adams captures the silent and pure beauty of the earth and its territories in the face of their inevitable change.
