From September 26th to 30th, Mutina has officially inaugurated its new Headquarters: Spazio Mutina, a place suitable for enhancing the creative spirit and the essence of a constantly evolving brand, adding a new important milestone in the history of the company.
To celebrate this special achievement, the opening nights featured the starred catering of Da Vittorio restaurant and a site-specific contemporary dance performance. Furthermore, during the week, six brand new projects and a new edition of a historical collection have been presented.
Mutina renewed its collaboration with Tokujin Yoshioka by working on an extension of Phenomenon, historic collection presented for the first time in 2010, Botanica, a new collection of ceramic surfaces, and Phenomenon Plate, that belongs to Mutina Editions. Patricia Urquiola also revealed her first Edition, El Lobo. Furthermore, architect Vincent Van Duysen, new member of Mutina team, designed Kosei, a ceramic collection conceived for “grand” architecture and especially developed for floor, Renga, a three-dimensional element, and Yama which is also part of Mutina Editions.
“We inhabit our space as if it was a tailored suit, sewn with care throughout its seventeen years of history.”
