The word Ensemble – together, in French – captures the essence of these ten years of collaboration and extraordinary friendship between Mutina and Studio Bouroullec, during which we have learnt to look back in order to go forward.
On the occasion of this wide project, Mutina presents a new edition of Pico and Rombini, great classics of the company, two new ceramic collections, Punto and Bloc, and a venture with a new material, Pico Bois.
Apparently very different, the collections we have developed together perfectly represent Mutina’s journey in the creation of surfaces able to restore dignity to a “living” material: ceramics.
Pico
With the new edition of Pico, the collection range is enriched by Argile, realised with the same materials and technology of the already existing variants, and Pico Satin which is obtained by using CONTINUA technology and a satin atomised glaze.
Rombini
With the new edition, the already existing variants Triangle Large and Small are joined by the Extra Small format, as well as by a new Glossy finish in the colours Blanc, Gris, Rose, Vert and Brun, declined on the entire range.
Punto
Punto is a three-dimensional decorative element that can be used only on walls. The pattern is characterised by big sunken dots or elevated dots and finds its highest expression when used on large surfaces.
Pico Bois
Pico Bois is the first wooden floor realised by Mutina. As the name itself suggests, it’s an evolution of the Pico collection, of which it recalls the graphic motif made of blue and red dots, impressed onto the surface so as to enhance the wood texture.
Bloc
Bloc is a terracotta brick produced with the artisanship extrusion process. It’s a three-dimensional element conceived to build architectural and decorative structures. It features a Natural version and a palette of four shades declined in both Matt and Glossy finishes.
A true experience in colour and surface that lead us to the creation of a series of collections that can be combined together, naturally.
