The opening of MUT 7

Ronan Bouroullec – The Sound of My Left Hand, the first solo show in Italy of the French artist and designer, officially inaugurated on November 19th. The exhibition, curated by Sarah Cosulich, has been conceived for the spaces of Casa Mutina Milano, where it will be open to the public until 20th May 2022.

Within the showroom, the sinuous lines of Ronan Bouroullec’s drawings dialogue with the architecture and the poetic of the collections designed with his brother Erwan for Mutina: the elements of Pico, Rombini, Punto, Pico Bois and Bloc have been used to create an exclusive ceramic display where to present the artworks.

In the exhibition, the codes of drawing and design, sign and material clang. Tridimensionality and bi-dimensionality fool the gaze in their overlapping of texture and form, in a way that overcomes the need for a definition of the gesture that produced it.
