From February 28th to April 9th, the Paris-based Galerie Kreo renovates the collaboration with Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec by exhibiting some of their drawings for the first time.
Not only an unprecedented exhibition, but also an occasion to compare two different series and personalities, characterized by distinct formats and compositions, modes of production and evocative universes, yet connected by an aware and unique use of colour.
In the Ronan Bouroullec’s series, all the works are dated 2018 and have been realised with ink and Japanese brush pen on glossy paper, thus emphasizing the value of a gentle manual ability. On the other hand, the one by Erwan Bouroullec consists of digital printings obtained through a specially developed software, which processed the photographs chosen for their structure and colour compositions.
