This private residence has been designed by Spanish multidisciplinary studio Carmen Baselga_Taller de Proyectos. Based in Valencia, the house is placed right in front of the sea, in a deeply evocative area, full of suggestions.
The palette is clearly inspired by the surroundings, as it combines pink and coppered tones typical of the sunset, the rust shade of wet sand, the clear blue of the sea and the light grey of summer shadows.
The architects used Rombini collection by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec to merge the spaces, creating a sense of continuity between indoor and outdoor, architecture and furniture. This effect is also emphasised by the natural light that hits ceramics, thus giving birth to a chiaroscuro effect which draws attention and asks to be followed all along the surface.
