Located in the Parioli district of Rome, the project of Cantera restaurant has been realised by architectural firm STUDIOTAMAT, that created an exclusive environment mixing vintage and modern styles. Young street artists’ works have been paired with classic materials, such as marble grit, and minimal Japanese aesthetic. All accompanied by a “meat fusion” dining experience.
The architects chose to decorate the great central counter and the walls with Celosia by Patricia Urquiola, exploiting its three-dimensionality. By combining the hollow elements in extruded terracotta, they achieved an extremely dynamic layout, giving a vibrant atmosphere that enhances the interiors.
