Hija de Sanchez Cantina

Recently opened in the Docklands district of Copenhagen, the interiors of Hija de Sanchez Cantina have been designed by OEO Studio. To reflect the casual and welcoming experience of the restaurant, the architects maximised the natural light and its functionality, by layering architectural elements and carefully designing dining spaces.

The main elements of the project are colour, declined in a bold and playful palette inspired by the cityscapes of Mexico, and materiality. Both these aspects are enclosed in the design of Tierras by Patricia Urquiola, whose tactile texture and earthy, dusty tones have been chosen to decor the walls.
