LANE & PRIMAVERA IN LONDON

with Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby

On May 23rd, during the 2019 Clerkenwell Design Week, the latest Mutina collections were launched by Domus, UK’s leading supplier of tiles, mosaic, stone and engineered flooring for residential and commercial projects. The collections, Lane and Primavera, are designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. The ceramic elements reveal a conceptual analysis of colour in a fresh style and format and have been displayed through ad hoc installations.

While Lane came about from a reinterpretation of architecture and nuances in London’s neighborhoods, Primavera aims at representing the spontaneous irregularity and pureness of a natural element, both to the sight and to the touch.

On the occasion, as part of Domus’ CDW lunchtime talk series, the designers spoke to design journalist Emma O’Kelly about the creative process behind these projects.
